Yes, we are. We are embarking on several key emission reduction strategies to reduce our carbon footprint including 100% renewable clean energy for our facilities. These projects are in the planning phase and will take a few years to implement. That said, Climate Active certification mandates that businesses demonstrate continual investment in the reduction of scope 1&2 emissions.
As a member of the Leather Working Group, CHT has maintained gold level status as part of audited accreditation under the Leather Working Group.
